Is Fring for PC a suitable app for you or you should buy a smartphone?

In our first post we told you how to download Fring for PC using Android simulator obviating the need to buy a smartphone. Then we went on and did a research on how many people were actually interested in getting Fring for PC and to our surprise a lot of people actually do search for Fring for PC. We then looked into Google search insights to find out some numbers to report and it seems the trend for such has slowly grown to about 60 times than what it was at the beginning. This is why we got curious about it and wanted to give more information on how to actually get Fring working on your PC.

The second thing that encouraged us to create Fringforpc.org was the fact that people were actually putting no information with stuffing keyword “Fring for PC” in their text that led the search engines to believe those pages were actually relevant. Anyways, in this post we want to shed some light on if Downloading Fring for PC is even worth for the time and effort you will spend in getting it? 

Why Fring for PC and not a new smartphone

Personally, I use a Samsung A-107 from AT&T and thus if I want to use Fring I must install in on my Mac or PC. We haven’t really talked about how to get Fring for Mac but it is coming soon . So, if you are sailing in a similar boat, then you do need Fring for PC.

If you have a phone that does not support Fring app on it then you need to get this Fring app on your PC. This is with the assumption that you do not currently have the option of buying a new Android smartphone.

What does it take to get Fring for PC

If you want to get Fring for PC then you need to download the android emulator Youwave which might take up to 500MB disk space on your computer and requires a decent processor with Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7. You might also want to add 10 minutes of downloading time on a 12 Mb/s broadband connection. If you are on a slow Internet connection, it might take up to a few hours.

Once, you have installed Youwave, you can go ahead and download Fring on it as we showed in the tutorial.

Is Fring for PC really for you

Now that you are aware of what entails getting Fring on your PC, it might be an easy decision to make for you. We would suggest that if you really need it then go ahead and take the pain of getting Fring installed on your PC or do it to impress someone special.
